The single axis is ideal for a studio that is short on space and wants a tidy way of mounting and storing paper backdrops without the hassle of setting up a backdrop stand. This system is suited for most backdrops, if you are using cotton muslin you would need to get a supplementary 2-inch inner diameter metal or pvc pipes (not included) for mounting backgrounds other than paper backdrops.
