Description

    The Godox R1 is a compact and lightweight RGB light which is small enough to be held in the palm of your hand or in your pocket. Consisting of three modes, it enables you to easily choose from a 360º range of colours in the control of Hue and Saturation in RGB mode, adjust the colour temperature from 2500K to 8500K in CCT mode and select from 14 special effects in the SFX mode. All accessed from the press of a button!

    The R1 features high colour rendering with an impressive CRI of 98 and a TLCI of 97, guaranteeing natural and pristine colour every time.

    RGB Mode
    Freely adjust the hue (H: 0~360º), colour saturation (S: 0~100) and brightness (0~100).

    CCT Mode
    Precisely adjust colour temperature from 2500K to 8500K.

    Special Effects Mode
    The Godox R1 features 14 built-in special effects modes, with each effect containing 2-3 variations, allowing a total of 39 effects.

    I shoot a lot of interiors. Often lights don't work or lighting is insufficient. So, I purchased these to use as pseudo globes. They work a treat. They won't illuminate a room, but for small spaces, highlights and such they are perfect.
    Colour matching and brightness to surrounding light is easy. They appear well made and are fit for my purpose. My only fear is forgetting them and leaving them onsite!

    Great little lights.

    These things are amazing. The only thing I can really fault is the strength of the magnet on the back. It doesn’t really stick to anything. Aside from that the colour range, effects and when paired with the accessory modifier kit makes it a fun tool for small photography and video work.

    Fantastic Light
