Spectrum Mini Beam 60-S Continuous 5600K 60W COB Led Light

It was definitely a little smaller than I thought it would be but because of the great light it gives off that isn’t a problem as of now. This lil jawn (I’m from Philly lol) is perfect for anything you need to be right up on. I used it with my 60in Godox soft box w/ grid on it for the sneaker shot and the light was beautifully spread. I’ll put more work in with it and update this review as I find out more.

Bought for my youtube channel. Happy with purchase. Led light is very bright.

Light came with long cable, long enough for small room. Also light came with reflector. Useful attachment to have but not for me. I'm using it with big Godox softbox. It produces good quality light.

Things to consider:
- It's not bi colour. It's 5600 kelvin. I'm using cto gels to make light warmer.
- Fan noise: fan makes noise. And mic picks up the noise. But it's easy to get rid off it using premiere pro, audition or audacity.

I bought 2 of these for my photography studio, didn't want to pay ridiculous money. They are perfect! Bright at full power but dimmable, I use 2 paired with a strobe . Used for at least 20 shoots now and can't fault them. Considering buying 2 more for indoor location shoots

This is the best budget light you can get to up your video production game, it provides a compact and budget friendly powerful light that is comparable with high end brands.

The build quality is fully metal with ventilation holes which brings the noise problem and the weight is relatively light by sacrificing the heatsink compared to SL60 from Godox, check out the video for size comparison. there are many points that makes it better than the Godox except the noise part.

The light is bright and since the sensor is rounded it is well distributed, it comes with with slimmer cover than SL60 and in also has smaller footprint overall and smaller package, the cable comes from the side which is also a plus and the unlock button for the cover is much better implemented.

For me a good bright light with a good diffuser will do the job, which this exceeds my needs, I usually use it at 10-50 percent unless if I am covering a larger area and putting the light far away. The little details that this light has in its price just outperformed my main LED light which is the SL60 from Godox.

Very good quality considering the bargain price. I bought 2, used softboxes with double diffusors for a live stream music performance and had no issues.

Note that this light doesn't include any lighting modifiers, not even a cheap dish reflector. Some of the photos may be misleading in that regard. You'll want to buy a reflector, umbrella or soft box if you expect to use it when it arrives.

I think the fan is a bit loud, but if you know what you are doing it should not be a problem. I use it with a 75 cm deep softbox without any problem. Bowens mount is plastic but strong enough.

Buy this! There is no question it's great value and the concerns I had about fan noise were unfounded. Its quiet enough for interviews and situations where you need to record sync sound.

I was in the middle of a shoot when this was delivered. I opened it, put it on a light stand, and slapped a light modifier on it. Plugged it in and turned it on. Shot with it the rest of the day and had no issues with it.

The fan is quiet enough, barely audible. The only thing that concerns me is the stand clamp and position adjustment are plastic so it will require a gentle touch to last.

The other peculiarly is the intensity control knob requires five full rotations to go from 10% (the lowest setting) to 100 percent. It would be much more efficient if it was only a single rotation.

The light quality looks good; as one of the least expensive 60w lights out there it seems to be a good value if you are careful and don’t knock things around too much.

Good lighting for photography or video production is essential. I needed the ability to control the lighting as much as possible with it
